THERE ARE SEVERAL WAYS YOU CAN HELP THE ANIMALS AT THE SHELTER!!!
NATURAL BALANCE FUNDRAISER
Natural Balance wants to give back to shelter animals! If you or anyone you know feeds their pets Natural Balance products, you can participate. All that needs to be done is to clip the UPC code on the product and attach it to the original register receipt as a proof-of-purchase and mail it to us. Then when we collect 50 UPC codes, we will mail it to Ntural Balance and they will send us a check!! For all the information, click on the link below!

GUARDIAN ANGEL FOOD PROGRAM
When you change an animal’s diet, it can disrupt their digestive system and cause stomach issues such as diarrhea. We have teamed up with Science Diet to start a Nutrition Program here at the shelter. This program works through contributions by you. If we get enough people to donate $10 a month, Science Diet will give us food at cost for our animals. This will help them maintain their digestive health during their stay here at the shelter.
You can help in two ways:
1.) $120 annually; or
2.) $10 monthly.

DONATION OF ITEMS:
As well as the much needed money for medications for the animals, the Humane Society is always in need of items for daily use to care for them. If you wish to donate any of these items, they can be brought to the shelter or dropped off in any of the donation boxes that are around the county. Location of donation boxes are: SweetBay (Lake Placid); Publix (Sebring [South], Lake Placid); PetCo; Pet Supermarket.
FOR THE ANIMALS:
Kitty Litter, Dog/Cat Toys; plastic kennels; leashes & collars; blankets; towels

Liquid laundry detergent; bleach; dryer sheets; clothes pins; mops; brooms; dust pans; sponges; pooper scoopers; long garden hoses; pressure nozzles for hoses; paper towels; garbage bags
FOR THE OFFICE:
Copy paper; pens/pencils; postage stamps; envelopes; file folders; printer ink;
