On Wednesday, August 25, 2010, the AMVETS of Sebring donated a total of $1000 to the Humane Society! We here at the shelter would like to thank them for thinking of the homeless animals here! We really appreciate their support!

RABBITS HAVE GONE TO A RESCUE: OKEECHOBEE WILDLIFE CENTER!!!!!

Today, June 19th, Lance High, 10 years old, came to the shelter. He said to me, “I already have everything that I want so for my birthday I asked for people to help me help the animals of the Humane Society.” He brought in a bunch of cat and dog food, treats, and $363.00 that was given to him for his birthday for the animals. Lance, we thank you so much for thinking of them! We wish everyone could be like you!! THANK YOU!

On Saturday, April 10, Girl Scout Troop 22 in Sebring donated a pile of shell rock to help fill the holes in the dogs’ play yards. They did a wonderful job of filling in all the holes!!! A GREAT BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE GIRLS WHO CAME OUT!!!
